full time character application

Full Time Characters are your standard RP character, and must be a little more active, more fully developed than Part Time Characters. If a character is listed as a full timer on our available characters list, you must apply for them as such unless you have mod approval for Par Time Status. If they are listed as Part Time, you may apply for them as part time or full time, but your activity requirements will be adjusted accordingly. While our application may be different from others, the mods use all of your responses to get an impression of your character and how they will fit in the game so please be thoughtful and thorough without overwhelming us with information.

Completed applications should be e-mailed to attheclose [at] gmail [dot] com. Please submit your application in the body of the e-mail, rather than a link to a journal or as an attachment. If you don't hear from us at all in three days, we most likely did not receive your app (gmail sometimes has inexplicable issues with hotmail), so please either send from a different e-mail address or post a comment below, linking us to a journal entry with your application, and the date you originally submitted it. Lastly, it's our policy to allow select players an opinion on applications that are directly pertinent to their currently cast character (family, best friends, etc.). If you object to this and want your application to be viewed solely by the moderators you must mention so in your application. Thanks!

We use calendars here to set up both backstory and an outline of where we'd like to go in the future too. The backstory helps give players an idea of what their characters have been doing (and with whom) the last six months, so we ask that each character choose one or two spots from our backstory calendar to fill. Which would you like? If there are none that appeal to you, please provide at least two for the mods to choose from. Also, are there any other significant events in your character's backstory that you would like added to the backstory calendar?

Question 2:
Wars have many 'sides,' not just good or bad warriors fighting passionately for a cause. Where does your character currently stand in regards to the conflict, and what is their ideal course of action?

Question 3:
What regrets, if any, has your character had in the past year or two? These may be about the war or about a particularly poor haircut; anything is fair game.

Writing Sample:
Please give us a 300+ word sample (third person, past tense) that clearly displays your vision for this character and how they will fit into the game. We ask that your sample take place sometime in the last six months of your character's life so that it will be relevant to what we're going to be playing at ATC.
