Simple, no? :D Peeves Katie Bell Katie has been played previously, her tag can be found here. Eric Brentwood At this game, Eric must be played as a Muggleborn and may not be attending Hogwarts. It is up to the player as to his current whereabouts, be it in hiding, on the run, Azkaban, or abroad. Mandy Brocklehurst Mandy has been played previously, her tag can be found here. Michelle Campbell At this game, Michelle must be played as a Muggleborn and may not be attending Hogwarts. It is up to the player as to her current whereabouts, be it in hiding, on the run, Azkaban, or abroad. Penelope Clearwater Penelope has been played previously, her tag can be found here. Colin Creevy As a Muggleborn, Colin may not be at Hogwarts. It is up to the player as to his current whereabouts, be it in hiding, on the run, Azkaban, or abroad. It's also up to the player whether or not Dennis is with him, though Dennis will need to be an NPC or just seen in narrative form if they are together, as we won't be casting any characters younger than sixteen. Kevin Entwhistle At this game, Kevin must be played as a Muggleborn and may not be attending Hogwarts. It is up to the player as to his current whereabouts, be it in hiding, on the run, Azkaban, or abroad. While he is listed with the 7th years, who are full time characters, the mods are willing to consider him as a secondary because of the challenges of finding interaction opportunities, providing he does not live in an Order Safehouse. Justin Finch-Fletchley As a Muggleborn, Justin may not be attending Hogwarts. It is up to the player as to his current whereabouts, be it in hiding, on the run, Azkaban, or abroad. While he is listed with the 7th years, who are full time characters, the mods are willing to consider him as a secondary because of the challenges of finding interaction opportunities, providing he does not live in an Order Safehouse. Daphne Greengrass Daphne has been played previously, her tag can be found here. Hagrid Is only going to be at Hogwarts for a few months! Please remember that you'll need to throw a Support Harry Potter party sometime between March 24-26th, and be on the run from the 26th of March onward. Rolanda Hooch Since we don't have any Professors besides Charity Burbage established as Muggleborns, we'd like poor Madam Hooch to be on the run. If you're really keen on playing her at the school, we would consider foisting this on a different professor, if one remains open. Also, just because both names are all over the place, having her named Xiomara (or anything else really) is a-okay with us! Lee Jordan As a Muggleborn, Lee is presently in hiding/on the run. He is also involved in broadcasting the popular underground radio programme, Potterwatch. He may or may not be involved with/aware of the Order of the Phoenix. Luna Lovegood After being kidnapped from the station when going home for Christmas holidays, Luna was kept as a hostage by the Death Eaters. We don't foresee anyone wanting to play Luna in captivity for an extended period of time, so she'll be made available for casting a week or two before her escape on 28 March. Xeno Lovegood After failing to produce Potter, Xeno Lovegood is also taken as a hostage of the Death Eaters, thought not reunited with his daughter. No one knows where he is or if he's even alive after the explosion of his house. Unfortunately, since he's probably off by his lonesome, stuck in a dungeon somewhere, we'll not be casting him unless someone is really looking to play him, and has ideas about what he can play. Ernie Macmillan Ernie is Head Boy! CONGRATULATIONS, ERNIE! Also, Hannah Abbott has listed you as a cousin on her father's side, although the player is willing to be flexible if it's necessary for your mum to not be a Bones? Draco Malfoy Okay, here goes. XD The mods would prefer a Draco who is a Death Eater, mark and all. It will be up to the player as to when he received the mark, and he may be played at Hogwarts or fully outside of school. If he is not being played at school, we will need to appoint a different Slytherin 7th year Prefect. It's not that we won't accept a Draco who isn't, but if a prospective player wants him to not have the mark, we're going to ask for some rationale, as far as why he's asked to sit in on Death Eater meetings - something beyond "They're at his house!" because let's face it, You-Know-Who could totally make Draco go to his room. ;) Also, Draco is a technically a recast. He appeared in one comment, here. There was no animosity involved in his player's departure, you don't have to worry about anyone wanting you to keep any of his history, but we want to be upfront that his player did not meet our activity requirements or respond to our e-mails about it, and was then dropped, per our rules. Narcissa Malfoy Narcissa has been previously played. Her player resigned due to scheduling conflicts without animosity, and while we do not require new players to pick up any elements of characters that have been previously cast, those who are curious can find any threads played at her tag. Applicants may choose to accept or reject Rosemary Selwyn's offer for Narcissa to head up the Daily Prophet's Society Pages (though we ask that you either send a letter or have it be an assumed acceptance, not play in the thread our previous Narcissa started!). Daniel Mills At this game, Daniel must be played as a Muggleborn and may not be attending Hogwarts. It is up to the player as to his current whereabouts, be it in hiding, on the run, Azkaban, or abroad. Zozma Morgan Zozma is presently an NPC, though if someone is interested in her she is available to be cast. She owns the newly opened (Nov 97) Memoraiemporium in Diagon Alley, a shop dealing in memories, and accoutrement. She's a little strange, and no one is completely sure which side she's on. Presently we're using Alfre Woodard as her PB, though applicants may certainly change that, as well as her name. Ollivander You're a hostage of the Death Eaters. :( Sorry, dude. Padma Patil Padma is Head Girl! CONGRATULATIONS, PADMA! Rosemary Selwyn After Barnabus Cuffe's retirement in early November, Rosemary Selwyn has replaced him as Editor in Chief of the Daily Prophet. Stan Shunpike Stan is under the effects of the Imperius Curse and forced to do the Death Eaters' bidding. It is up to the player who exactly has Imperiused him (unless they name a currently played character, who opposes), as well as the extent of their control. Rosmerta, for example, was able to run the Three Broomsticks without anyone being the wiser, so while the Order of the Phoenix may know that Stan is unwillingly working for You-Know-Who, people who have never seen him with a mask and hood may not have any idea of his involvement. In fact, it is possible that even Stan is unaware; if his memory is also modified each time, he may simply think he's blacking out at random. Dean Thomas As a possible Muggleborn, Dean must be on the run (preferably with Ted, Dirk, Gornuk, and Griphook) until he is caught by the Snatchers on March 28th. While he is listed with the 7th years, who are full time characters, the mods are willing to consider him as a secondary because of the challenges of finding interaction opportunities, providing he does not live in an Order Safehouse. Ted Tonks If Ted is still alive - and no one really knows - then he has been on the run for a very long time, and is quite near his end. :( Regretfully, he is going to need to be caught and killed by the 25th of March. The Trio We will open holds for Harry, Ron, and Hermione a few weeks before 28 March (the Snatchers, Malfoy Manor, Shell Cottage debacle). In the mean time, they really don't interact with anyone besides themselves. We don't want their players to get burnt out, writing the same thing over and over again every week for three months, so the mods will NPC them gently if it's truly needed. Ginny Weasley Neville states that Ginny does not return to Hogwarts after Easter holidays, so players should be advised that she will be living with other family members at - drumroll, please - Auntie Muriel's, from the 27th of March till the Battle! Also, please note that while she's a sixth year which is generally a Part Time character division, the mods would prefer to cast a Ginny who is willing to play as Full Time while she is still at Hogwarts, because of her activity as a leader of the DA.
